As a biomedical communicator my intent is to clearly and accurately explain complex biomedical and scientific phenomena through various visual media, such as animations, illustrations, and infographics.

I received my Master of Science in Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto and have been Certified by the BCMI. Along with my Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, my background and research experience in the field, as well as my interest in visual learning—biomedical communication has given me a unique skill set for understanding and translating ideas which could be difficult to communicate otherwise.

It is my hope that through visual communication, I can help bridge gaps in scientific literacy, and be a proponent for clear, accurate, and exciting dissemination of science.

I love to learn about all things science and tech, and have a particular soft spot for topics in biomedicine, tissue engineering, biomaterials, pathophysiology, and nanotechnology.

In my spare time, I love to explore the outdoors, spend inordinate amounts of time with my dogs, and create illustrations inspired by nature and folklore—which you can find more of on my Society6 store.
